SFDL

Associated parks:
None

No, SFDL isn’t open yet. I just never got around to posting my trip report from last summer (please, put down the tomatoes). Here are a few quick notes from someone who had never been there before: Predator- I was looking forward to this, as I much prefer woodies to steel. This was one of the most unpleasant rides round. Very rough- in fact, it broke my trusty sunglasses that I always put in my shorts pockets.Superman- this was my first post-Magnum hyper. I rode it in the front and back seats and loved it. Complete fun- the kind of coaster I would want in my backyard. My #1 steelie.I didn’t go on any of the other coasters since two are clones. The Viper sure looked tiny- hard to believe it was state of the art when it was built! Overall, the park’s location was odd: you’re driving through cornfields, and then all of a sudden you see Superman. Very strange. They would have to add a lot more attractions before they earn the Six Flags name, in my opinion.

Thanks for the Park Review! (sarcasm)

If SFDL doesnt "qualify" as a six flags park than what does?

I like the signature on that one, Wickedtwisted.... fits the bill correctly! :)
IMO only, I think that SF has ruined that park. I live only 30 miles from SFDL. It used to be a nice family style, affordable park. Now they're turning it into another clone park. I used to buy season passes when it was just DL, cuz it was a nice place to just hang out and get away and camp. Now I've only been there when SF has added new coasters to add to my list. But to tell ya the truth, I probobly would'nt go back if they added a record breaker now. Makes me sick what they've done to it.
