I walked around the SFA waterpark for the first time this past Friday and from first sight, I thought it looked very poorly managed and set up.
I believe it was overcrowded, however, so I will have to go back on a less crowded day for a better look.
It looks as if the slides are not strategically placed for crowd movement, they have not updated the park in years with new slides, the pavement is cracked and old, and the tarp covering up the pavement in areas is run-down.
It actually just looks like a big over-crowded beach. One thing I did notice that was good was that SFA seemed to have added a nice western-feeling backdrop to the wave-pool.
