They rule ! Very good family rides, with very desorientating spinning !

Roarrrr...
The best part about the ride was riding with a 5 year old little girl. One the way up the lift I asked what her favorite ride was and she replied the balls in Looney Tunes Movie Towne. At the end of the ride she said her favorite was now Penguin's Blizzard River. So take the advice of a 5 year old and go ride this ride!!! I can't imagine what this ride is going to be like in the dark.
They still have a couple of kinks to work out, like the Penguin's are not timed to blow water precisely, and some of the water sprays at the end of the water slide were not working but all in all, the ride is themed well and the landscaping is GREAT! With one notable exception, I couldn't help noticing the picture of the Penguin at the entrance to the ride had a pole sticking out of his {fill in the blank}. The themeing is pretty good as well. I don't know why SFA seems content on going back repeatedly to it's days as a regional amusement park. I noticed on the chalk board in the Penguin's Fish Factory {also known as the station} they make reference to a delivery to SFA/AW/WW. I felt really old when I explained to the young man behind me and his friends what WW stood for "Six Flags America/Adventure World/Wild World". *** Edit *** I also thought the automation of the ride was pretty neat. Everything pretty much ran on sensors.
Saw the new Cirq Du Six Flags show today as well. It was pretty good. If you have a chance to see it I would take the time.
One last thing, There is a new ice cream vendor at the park that keeps peddling the new home made ice cream. Give it a try, it's pretty good. I do wish they wold bring back Uncle Teddy's Pretzel though.
