SFA Quick Tips

My family and I will be going to Six Flags America, most likely on the 9th, but still checking for weather updates. I wanted to get some quick tips and changes for last year.

I heard that Joker's Jinx got Lapbars like Flight of Fear did.

I heard something about Batwing opening its second station but I'm not sure about it. Could someone please tell me about it? Do I still use the Main Queue or another?! Is it shorter wait?!

How have the lines been on Tuesdays lately? I hope short...^.^

Have all the rides been open? I remember last summer the River Ride...Don't remember its name, was closed. I think there is a Skull somewhere during the ride. I hope thats open. Some Flat rides weren't open either. Something with Eagle in its name?! I hope that all is right so I don't look dumb. :)

What are some good places to eat? When we went, we just ate Hot Dogs...hehe.

Thanks for all the Answers!! If you are going there on that day, Let me Know! :)

Yes Jokers jinx now has lap bars which makes for a great ride and as a result the lines for it have gotten rather long so I suggest riding it as early as possible.

As for Batwing it has been running both stations on my last two visits but this may not always be the case every day,if it is running both sides then you can access the station closest to S:ROS by taking the stairs down and to the left of the stairs that lead to the station furthest away from S:ROS.

With regards to lines and over all crowds on a tuesday I'm not sure of because I always visit the park on saturdays.

Most of the flat rides have been open including Iron eagle however the sky escaper is being removed to make way for something new.

As for some good places to eat I find hollywood cafe in looney tunes movie town to be a good place for lunch, for dinner I highly recommend eating at crazy horse saloon in coyote creek.

I hope you find my answers and suggestions to be of some help and I hope you enjoy your trip to SFA,I'll be there on the 27th.

I forgot to mention that Typhoon sea coaster opens at 12 noon on most days.

Joker's lines were bad earlier due to one train op, but recently two train op has occured and lines are much more reasonable.

Batwing may or may not run both stations pending crowds and the number of employees that day. Best bet is to get there early.

Superman has relatively short lines for the first 1-2 hours the park is open. It also has been recently running two trains.

Generally everything opens, but may have periodic breakdowns. The water rides will probably all be open at one point in the day (Seacoaster and the Renegade Rapids can be tempermental), and one or two of the minor flat rides might close. Iron Eagle has been open every visit I have been there this year.

Just about everything was running on my last visit except for octopus, not to mention the strange popping sound Iron eagle was making about half way through the ride when I was on it last week.

Most of the flat rides have been open including Iron eagle however the sky escaper is being removed to make way for something new.

When you say sky escaper do you mean the SkyCoaster? Or something else?

No I do mean sky escaper,it is/was the enterprise ride that was located in the same area as Iron eagle.

So far the cars have been removed and can be seen next to Wild one's lift but the rest of the ride remains in place with a big wooden fence surrounding it.
