thanks to the Brave (and patient) ACErs and other coaster fans that came out to SFA with threatening weather for what turned out to be a game of BATWING SURVIVOR!
at about 10am we were being escorted back to the Batwing area. We were told that the ride needed to be cycled 20 times w/o a problem before company policy states that they can open it to the public. they trained during that 20 runs also.
1st attempt got them to 15
2nd attempt 5
after extensive work they eventually got to 20 at 5:30pm
we were allowed a solo flight beefore the public made it up the queue line however as they got into the station we were being reclined and they all cheered us on........
To those who voted themselves off the Batwing Island, sorry you missed it, it was great, but I totally understand your frustration and impatience.
Please come back this fall for the CZ invasion and we'll get those Batwing flights in that you missed.

From what I could see, the trains kept getting stuck at the top of the lift, but that could have been only one of the problems.
I sure hope they get the bugs out of the ride's system within the next 3 weeks cause that's when I'll be there and if not I'm gonna be ticked off !!
Its always nice to plan to be ticked off:) there may indeed be problems on the day you go, so get there early and ride as early as possible.

Remember no one sets out to not have a ride open. Just relax. If a ride isn't running it's for your safety.
I plan on being there at around 10:30 am sharp,if not 11:00 am tops.then it's batwing all the way!
