SFA fright fest..10/13

me and my buddy billy drove up from Richmond, and got there about 5pm...straight to Batwing.  it didnt look too long, so we got in line.  twice they tried adding a second train, and it took 2 hours till we got on!!  but, for the first time this year, i finally saw them run a two train operation!!  so that was cool.  and if you havent done it yet, ride Batwing at night...enough said!!!  then onto S:ROS....that ride freakin rocks at night!!  no ifs ands or buts about it!!!!!1  about a 45 min wait for the front seat.  then onto MindEraser....i gotta say, this was the BEST ride i have ever had on that thing!!  you guys are gonna freak, but i love Vekoma SLCs!!  we did ride the front, but it just rocks...and at night its even better!!! about a 15 min wait for that.  then we HAULED over to Two Face, waited about 30 or min for that.  again, i love that one too...the "front seat" as in the one that faces the station on the first lift is very scary!!  when we got off, we had 10 min till closin so we ran to see if we could catch Iron Eagle..but the line was closed so we settled for the swings :)  all in all, it was a great night!!

ROLLERCOASTERS....BETTER THAN OXYGEN BABY!!!!!!
Well I'm glad you enjoyed it.I was there back on the 7th and almost all of the coasters were walk ons.And yes I have ridden Batwing at night and man is it great. The same can also be said for S:ROS as well.I'm heading to SFA one last time on the 27th,I gotta get my season pass for 02 while I'm there. While you were there did you notice any signs of construction behind and to the right of Batwing?
Batwing Fan, I'm always looking forward to getting my season pass for the following year also, but if you wait until March or April, you can get a much better deal from Safeway. True you have to buy four passes to get the savings, but do like I do, get four of your friends to go in with you. It's worth the wait to get the savings.

While technically true, in practice this is not always the case. I went up to the Safeway around my house and bought just one pass. At the time, I didnt know they were only to be bought in four packs, but the lady sold me the single pass at the discounted price anyway. it might be worth a shot...

I save myself the trouble and get it directly from the park. The discounts there aren't too bad,Usually you can get a pass for around $55.00-$60.00 which like I said isn't too expensive for just one pass.Did anyone notice the area that was taped off with orange construction fencing? It's right next to the trailers being used for fright fest.
hey batwingfan, i think i do remember seein some area taped off behind batwing and the station house for SROS....i didnt see any equipment or vehicles, axcept maybe a maint. truck or two...so who knows??  they seem to be on a role with new caosters....i guess time will tell....:)
