SFA Discounts?

I'll be heading to SFA on Sunday with a friend. I have a SF season Pass, but my friend doesn't. Anybody know of any discounts available at local grocery stores, soda cans, etc? Thanks for any help!

Their park brocure has a discount coupon on it. Stop by your local Chamber of Commerce, they should have one. That is $9 off.

Also, Little Debbie Snack foods have a coupon on the back worth $10 off at any SF park (except GA, LW, EV, and FC). It is good at SFA.

The best deal is the VIP cards, which were sent to businesses to give to employees. The Philadelphia area got a ton of them for some reason. The dicount varies through the year, but in the spring it is $15 off.

I saw discounts at my neighborhood Mobil station $10.00 off I believe. The best deal is the season pass if you plan to go to another SF park this season. Safeway was selling the season passes, not sure if they have discount coupons or not, they usually do.

Weather forecast for Sunday (I hate to say), Mostly Cloudy with a 70% chance of showers and thunderstorms some potentially severe at times. Highs 80-85. Dress appropriately, the only water ride open at this time is Shipwreck Falls (at least as of last weekend). However, the weather forecast can change in a matter of hours. Last night when I went to bed, they were predicting partly sunny skies this afternoon and highs around 70. Today was mostly cloudy with showers till about 3:00 and highs around 60. One last warning, being from Alabama you probably already know about Tornado warnings. We have had a couple the past couple of days. This seems to be our time of year to get them.

Do you have an SFA season pass?if so then you can use a bring a friend for free coupon.

If not then you're gonna have to try some of the suggestions given by Black 7,I would suggest holding off on your trip to the park for a week though because the weather forecast isn't all that good & as it is I'm taking a big chance by going tomorrow because they're calling for afternoon thunderstorms on both saturday & sunday.

Well, I'm in that area on business and Sunday is my only day to go. We're going to see what the weather is doing then decide from there.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

The weather of course is a double edge sword. It can also keep the lines short. Bring along zip lock bags for your wallet etc.

If it starts to rain, put on your poncho and head to Roar. As long as there is no lightning, it is a terrific ride in the rain. The speed goes way up and air time abounds. Dress warm though. Hypothermia is no fun.

Remember the old Maryland saying, "If you don't like the weather, just wait and hour." Most of our days this week have varied from pouring rain to sunshine and back in the course of the afternoon.
