SFA-8/8 Two-trains on S:ROS

Associated parks:
None

Yes. I am out of my mind for going to SFA today. It's well over 90 degrees with a heat index of 109. Talking to my friend Matt, we decided to wait until the evening when it would be "cooler". Well, it didn't really cool off at all and here we go. Our first stop was Batwing, and just like deja vu (not the ride) we catch it as it's coming off a breakdown. They say it's not the heat, it's the humidity. Yeah, whatever. Both are combining together in some satantic ritual, cause I'm burning up while waiting in line! We got on after an hour and we both have another amazing ride. Next we waited in line for S:ROS where we were pleasantly surprised to see two trains running. After the SFNE accident, I wasn't expecting that at all. Things were moving way too slow, but with the heat I kind of understood. Sitting down in the blue train after 10 minutes, we unexpectedly had to get back up. Someone from the previous train had puked. This is not the first time I've seen vomit as a result of this ride, but it's the first time I've seen fresh chunks. Waiting about another 10 minutes for a janitor to arrive was a little frustrating. After a little cycling to dry things off, we wind up riding in the red train. The new wheels are making a huge difference in how it rides. It's so much smoother than it has been. Running out of time, we head over to Roar and have another amazing ride in the back seat. I forget just how powerful the first drop is in the back seat. We walk around and ride in the front next. We see the Rodeo operating from up top of the lift, and we go running over there (not advised in the heat). Unfortunately, we miss the last ride, but it's nice to see that the lighting package is finaly working after almost 3 years! By the way, the Krypton Comet (Chance Chaos) was also running.
