Again I decided to go to SFA on a nice day. Again I was met with pretty big crowds. First stop was Batwing and a line of an hour and 30 minutes. Thank goodness for the shade over the queue, or people would just bake. I ride next to a guy who feels that the coasters aren't that thrilling here, and they'd be more exciting if you would come closer to actually kiling yourself while onboard. He also shares his "prototype" of a coaster you would ride with your ankles dangling over a pool of water. Somewhere, someone is missing a mental patient. Next it was S:ROS and thankfully it was running two trains again. The wait was only 10 minutes! While I'm here I decided to ride Joker's Jinx, and again the line was under 10 minutes. They've added a Boardwalk Fries that you can smell while on the ride. Guess where I ate lunch? Then I rode Roar. After that I went to Southwest Territory, where appropriate for the area, they were moving sloooow. First Two Face had a small line, but only one person checking OTSR's. Then on Wild One, the ride-op made sure everyone had on their seatbelts first, then he let everyone pull down their lapbars. It makes sense, but it slowed everything down. Next I did Paradise Island for a little while, which for $3 for a locker isn't a horrible deal. After an hour it was back to the amusement park and I run into another enthusiast while waiting for Batwing again. Unfortuanately the ride had a breakdown, but no one has to leave the line. But, because of the breakdown we rode in extreme darkness. The vertical loop is cool during the day, but at night it's amazing. I couldn't tell which way was up. Lastly we went to S:ROS, which was so dark that you couldn't see most of the track from the station. It's while riding this that we run into two other enthusiasts, including Coasterbuzz's own 2Hostyl. This is a great night ride. Some parks wait until Halloween to turn all the lights off, but we don't! All in all it was a fun day.
