I decided once again to go on a Friday to SFA and it was a pretty good decision. The sky looked like it was going to rain all day but never did. This probably kept away a lot of people (Yes!). Most of the GP was once again school groups although they're weren't many of them today. All coasters were operating until S:ROS once again locked up with both trains stuck. This problem was quickly resolved, but not soon after the airgates broke (so that's why they tell people not to shake the airgates). They tried for the rest of the afternoon, but only occassionally would the airgates completely close like normal. It never reopened:( I wasn't too dissapointed as I did get one ride in and I've ridden it over a 100 times I think. So I met up with Paul, a fellow enthusiast, and we rode Roar several times without changing seats, then Wild One several times, and then Two Face about 3 times. This is where we picked up Alvin, another enthusiast, and continued on. Lines were so short for everything including Tower of Doom. Well, as for Batwing, two of the three trains are on the transfer track and lots of work is still going on. Unfortunately, it looks like two weeks before opening instead of one. The path to the coaster isn't complete yet, and I think there's supossed to be a midway in between S:ROS and Batwing. There is some drainage pipe on site and I hoping this will be for another bathroom so we won't have to travel back past Joker's Jinx all the time:) The biggest surprise was some actual themeing on the path leading to Batwing. There they're placing signs with WB Superhereos and Villians along the pathway. Can't wait to see it finished. The station also looks like it'll be the prettiest station out of the park.

I will be making a trip out to SFA tommorrow for the 5th week in a row. I can't wait to see the Batwing trains on the track. That should be quite a site.

Take flight on Batwing in 2001
Sounds like the DC Comics plaza rumor wasn't a rumor after all. I do agree that the station for Batwing should be really neat with all of the Art-Deco stuff.
