I woke up late and decided to go to SFA on a Friday since they're open on this day now. Pulling into the parking lot around 3:30 I quickly realized why they're open on Fridays. I see tour busses and more tour busses. Yes, you guessed it, it's that annual rite of passage called the senior class trip. I mainly went to check on Batwing and Dare Devil Dive's progress. Batwing looks like it'll have a very pretty station with a roman-like theme. The trains were also on display for the first time over by Joker's Jinx and are dark blue, dark purple, and yellow. Workers were putting the final touches on them. Workers were also busy on DDD. It looked like they were starting to pour footers. Typhoon Seacoaster, Iron Eagle and the Rodeo were down. TS was probably not operating because of staffing since most of the potential ride ops were either riding or in school. This is the second week in a row the Rodeo has been closed. I hope it's not anything serious like last year. They've closed off the first row in the S:ROS station presumably to keep people away from defacing the back of the Superman logo. Unfortunately the blue train was put on the transfer track before I arrived:( (it was operating earlier in the day I overheard)
I am going on Sunday and can't wait to see the trains. I hope the blue train is working when I go. Does anyone know if it will be crowded on Mothers Day?

Take flight on Batwing in 2001
The last couple of Sundays I've been haven't been very crowded at all. I would imagine the same conditions will be found until Batwing and the waterpark opens.
