SFA

About half of SFa's rides need retracking work. The flip side is tolerable because it is short, but the mind eraser and jokers jinx ne to be smoother after their intial elements.

anywho, if you are in the 15 min line for SROS, look behind the staion, in the direction the train dispatches, i couldnt see it, (having forgone my glasses for a day) but my friend says there was green track over there,(i could see the shapes, but i couldnt be 100% sure it was track, but thats what it looked like for me...) it was actually about mind erasers color, but that is one the other side of the park, can anyone verify this?

Yes I can. I was on the Tower of Doom on 8/18 and I also saw the bluish/greenish objects in that area. Also saw when the train dispatches. I could not tell if it was coaster track or not though.

Well, that is coaster track, but I doubt it will be going up anytime soon. Its the old parts of the Python, which used to be in the same spot as the Two Face.

I've heard rumors of an Underground installation of this ride, and with some crappy themeing(its Six Flags), it would be called The Batcave or something. While it would be an easy way to add a coaster, I doubt it will happen.

The Python's last season was 1998, before the park was a Six Flags. It was an Arrow? shuttle looper, but wasn't launched. You had to climb many stairs to ride this coaster. It was one half of the "Lightnin' Loops" that were at SFGAdv, but that ride was cloased due to an accident.
Actually, the ride was luanched via a sled that settled against the back/front of the train. When the engine ran, the sled shoved the train down the flat part of the track and over a small drop into the loop. The train then did it in reverse from another platform. The ride was actually a decent ride, as there was never a line:-)), as long as you didn't mind climbing a bunch of stairs to get there, which is why the underground instalation would make sense.
If you ever go back to the picnic pavalions you get a good view of it. At first I thought it was something big, but then a remembered it was just the old Python.

Come on. SFA isnt that bad. I was there on 8/18 it was drizzling on and off all day. The lines were about 5 mins for every coaster including Superman. Check out my report in the TR section. The employees were doing a good job at keeping the lines(or what was left of them) moving. My favorite part of the park was that it was nice and small, and you didnt have to walk very far to get to anything.

I was to SFA when there were small lines as well and had a good time. :) Then I went back on a busy day 4th of July. (IMO) The park can't handle the bigger crowds like other Six Flag Parks. I just think a park should be great when there is a crowd or not. The busy day garbage cans were overflowing everywhere. A few I can understand but all over. I think SFA could be great if they actually put more effort into training them.

I enjoyed my four hours there, even the time I was stuck on Superman's lift when the chain broke (bummer for the ride, but how many people can say that happened to them?). Still, it was a scorcher at 96 degrees, and when there are no lines but you still have to wait fifteen minutes on to get on something while the ride ops remove their thumbs from their noses, you get a little irritated as well. And when half of the flat rides are closed, you get the irritation level rises. I won't even get started on the food.

Yes, the food was pretty much on a downside, and a lot of flat rides were closed(Octopus,Iron Eagle, etc.), and yes the ride ops were a little irrating on some rides, but on ole' Supe, they were doin just fine, fine enough that I was able to score 32 laps.

Speaking of the Iorn Eagle. Do not expect to see that ride next year:-( It needs a complete overhaul badly, and the park executives are not willing to put in what it would take to make it workable again. Shame really, it was one of the beat not-so-flat rides on earth.
SFA is alright. When I was there in June Superman was closed. And basically the only other good rides there are Roar and Wild One. Joker's Junk gave me a blood clot, I think. And Two Face broke down at least 3 times while I was in line. Then they closed HALF the flat rides. I guess I'm just spoiled having SFMM as my home park.
