Friday the 13th, headed to SFAmerica, Great Ferry ride to Delaware, then off the Largo. Invertigo is different, but makes a few more noises than last year. Rode the Wild One, which is my favorite ride in the park. This ride is timeless. JJ was closed, and I probably wouldn't have cared to ride it anyway. Too rough. Superman ROS was great. Rode it in the darkness. Had no idea it had the flat turn off the first drop. I guy in line was commenting on the 3rd hill, and he was right, much liked airtime. Just those trains with the sheet metal vibrate something fierce. Rode Roar, still pretty smooth, then rode Mind Eraser. Getting rough. Sorry Vekoma. Did the Alice Cooper $5 walk through. Not bad, but I would not do it anymore. They have decent pizza, and the games look much better compared to last year. Sat, headed to Busch Gardens, and this place is one of my favorite parks. I have been coming here since 78. No graffitti, trash, anything. It is hard to find anything wrong, except they did somethin like 34,000 people, and that meant lines for the big rides. Apollo's was first. Full q's, but only 30 min. Not bad. And that rid eis nothing less than spectacular. Picking you rfeet up adds some great sensation. This ride is a winner. Went to get on Roman Rapids, but they closed it. Proceded to Alpengheist. This is the best inverted I have been on to date. Rode the Big Bad Wolf, which is still intense, and dinner in Das Festhaus. The Rhine River Cruise was good with these old captains, added some charm. Passed on the Wilde Maus, as it was rough last year, and had a line. Was really bummed that the Loch Ness Monster broke down. I have been riding that ride since 82. Plenty of family memories. They haunted the train. Great for families. The whole q area was in New France, filling up the Le Scoot Flume area. Tne the suprise, there is a walk through under Escape from Pompeii. The ride was closed, but an incredible amount of time and labor went into this planning.
