well we made our monthly trip to SFA(originaly we were headed for PKD but that's been pushed up by 2 weeks)we arrived shortly after opening and headed straight for batwing only to find them still testing,so we headed for s:ros instead.as usual the lines were a bit slow but the wait not too long, they had a good crew with very little stacking today.after that we headed for batwing which had just opened,as usual only single train operation and the worst crew in the entire park.we asked if there would be multi train operation and they said later in the day (yeah right)so after waiting in line from just after 11 am till nearly 2 pm we finally got on.it was a good ride as always and not as intense if you ride the middle of the train.we later decided to get fastlane for 2 face but no luck. we ended up getting good ones for roar and wild one though.while waiting on 2 face the darn thing broke down at least 3 times I heard someone saying that the blocking system was detecting the ride doing illegal flips,I don't get that how could that happen?after wards it was on to wild one as Rail Junkie mentioned we had a bit of trouble with some line jumpers. when we got up to the air gates we reported it to the security staff who did nothing about it,we also reported to the ride op,seeing as how those jerks were on our train (car 4 row 1)still nothing.later it was off to ride the joker which was pretty smooth for once with very little if any head banging.(purple train car 1 row 1)while on wild one we noticed that the 2 face crew had to manually push the train back into the station.after riding the joker we decided to check on the sky coaster but opted not to ride because we had to get to roar for fast lane at 7:15, we'll hit it next month.we also got in our ride on mind eraser which again was pretty smooth as well, the only thing wrong with that ride however is that the fast laner's took our seat.(supposedly because the red train's fast lane seat was broken) whitch was not true.during the previous cycle they were loading it.we also got in some flat rides as well, chaos as expected was down all day, however it re opened in the evening but we didn't dare to ride it.sky escaper, rodeo and polar express were down all day as well.as soon as we got off roar we headed for s:ros again and got in a quick ride.while climbing the lift we looked out to the left of batwing and noticed the nice flat land there.I wonder if they can stick a decent sized coaster in there next season?we'll have to wait and see.after s:ros it was on to batwing for a night flight.this ride is 10 times better at night than in day light as you cannot see a thing.afterward it was on to s:ros again we got the 2nd to last train of the night.(blue train car 4 row 2)that thing flies with the new wheels that were recently installed.(does anyone notice how the train tends to shake a little when cresting the 2nd hill?after ward we tried to get on wild one but no luck.we did however close out our trip with a late night ride on tower of doom.

Batwing-Bow Down
sorry about that.
It was smart to move your trip to PKD from 8-4-01 b/c thats when the Youth Evangelism Conference was there (I was part of that) and there were like 5,000 extra people than would normally be there on a Friday.
