SF New England Freefall Ride

I know the park has a multi-tower S&S ride, that was installed this year.

Didn't it have a single-tower S&S ride last year?

Whats the story with this.
I think that it was a S&S single-tower called Hellevator. Then they added two more towers and changed the name to Scream.

That is correct. SFNE added a Turbo Drop in 1998 I believe named Hellevator. With Riverside's transformation to SFNE, they added two combo towers (towers capable of combining the Space Shot ride and Turbo Drop ride into one) and renamed the new tower complex "Scream."

So one tower is a Turbo Drop, and the other two are combos?

Do you get to pick your tower, or do you just hope you get the one you want?
One Tower is a Turbo Drop, One is a Space Shot, and the last one is a Combo Tower. When they added the extra two towers, the also added an extra twenty or so feet to the existing one.

Waht's a combo tower?

Nate, that is incorrect. Like I said earlier, the original Hellevator is just a Turbo Drop. The new towers they added this year are both Combo towers, meaning they are both capable of the Combo Program (also, like I said earlier, the combo towers combine both the Space Shot Cycle and Turbo Drop cycle into one ride). Hope that clears up any confusion.

If I remember correctly the original Hellevator is the one that is positioned at a right angle to the rest of the park and the additional two towers are at an angle. Or maybe thats the other way round.....
