SF Mexico advice needed

I'm making my first trip to SF Mexico next month. Anyone got any good tips on getting to and from the park by public transport from central Mexico City? Thanks :)
We took a taxi from our hotel the one time I was there. There are a ton of reputable taxi's available from the park for the return trip. As for public transportation, I have no clue. The park is located near the university (also near where the U.N.A.M. Pumas play).

Some more of us are attempting to plan a similar trip for Thanksgiving weekend. We would appreciate any advice as well. :)

It's a lot more fun to ride Montezuma's Revenge at Knott's. The version in Mexico, while exciting, really isn't worth riding.

I took a taxi from the airport to SFM and had my hotel arrange for a car to pick me up just after park closing. Worked well!
