SF Great America... 2 for 1?

According to something one of my parents heard on TV and passed on to me, SFGAm is going to be starting a promotion where you buy 1 adult ticket, and it's good for two admissions.... anyone else heard anything on this?

Yeah, I heard about it. I probably caught the same thing your parents did (on CLTV, odd, because this is the first and only time I've ever, or probably will ever, watch CLTV for an extended period of time.)

From what I gathered, they're for sale at supermarkets around Chicago, which would probably mean Jewel, because they already sell tickets.

The story also mentioned that Six Flags attendance is down, which HAS to be chain-wide, because there's NO WAY that SFGAm has had an attendance hit this year. I mean, maybe it has, but I couldn't imagine it. I can't seem to find an empty day to go.

I also heard about this on the radio yesterday on NewsRadio 780 when I was in the city. The story said everything that I-Nar talked about, how company-wide that attendance was down and it blames the drop in attendance was due to the weather and the soft economy (business spending at SFGAM).

Nothing too new, the story did not talk about who is selling these 2 for 1 tixets.

I know Empire (you know 588-2300 Empire! [Today!]) Is doing it with carpet sales too. I also know that Jewel is selling Discouted tix but not 2 for 1.

I heard it on CLTV too this morning. Do you think it will actually make the attendance increase somewhat? I think it will, but it still wont hit the attendance they wanted.
Yes, if you pre-buy your tickets at local Jewel stores, you can get them 2-for-1. I am not sure how long this deal is scheduled to last.
