The Promising
Log Flume Open! Went down 4-5 times, and was myself stopped at last lift for 10min.
Looney Tunes characters in GA stripes out and popular.
Flash was fully landscaped, but station still just footers, which I find perplexing.
Food at Best of the West and service was best ever at an SF park, not saying much, but a start.
The work on Dream Street was well done, and the Wheel, just with a still boarded up Skyride, lets it down.
Batman - paint job looks great, just wish polished station and que as equally. Broken speakers, needs LED lighting, could be way better for very little $. If feeling frisky add Gotham City flats, a batmobile, to the gravel pit, and some greenery.
The Rides
Jersey Devil - first RMC single rail, way less unhinged then thought, and already getting a rattle that B&Ms in thier 30s have.
ElToro - the back is still too much, but 2nd train, non wheel, the magic is back, might be back ahead of mystic timbers.
Nitro - confirmed better than Apollos Chariot, but for the love of good, please paint! The 2nd best ride in the park, and it looks by far the worse since Batman and Medusa have been painted.
Log Flume being open, made me realize why has the lake not been used for a ride? Or drone show, or fireworks in 30 years?
KingdaKa had 5-15 min line for first part of the day then a steady 60min from 2p on, so did not ride. Also went down at 6:15…
Also this park desperately needs a new gen Family Coaster, along with the whole rest of old SF and CF.
I was going to make a Battlefield Earth joke, but…well, I guess I still can.
Sharpel, were you the director of Battlefield Earth?
