SF GAdv Question

I have heard many times now that Viper is finished. Is this true? In the three times I have been there this season it has not been running and a park employee told me that something major is wrong with it. Does this mean we will be looking at a vacant coaster all season which will increase lines elsewhere? I know it isn't that great of a ride but it is still a coaster that is fun to ride. Also, I have yet to see the left side of rolling thunder and robin on the chiller working. Any news on the reasons for this? Although the batman side is better on the chiller, I absolutely love the left side of rolling thunder. That first turn can really scare the crap out of you.
I have heard many rumors myself that Viper is threw but, according to a friend of mine the problem is that we haven't had enough warm weather for them to run it.He said that the problem is when it is cold Viper valley's somewhere on the track.I don't remember exactly where he said this happens and,if there is any truth to this i don't know so,don't quote me on it.I am guessin if they are going to run Viper it won't happen til maybe mid June when we get some hotter weather if the above is the case.As for rolling Thunder upon my 8 visits, three times they have raced both tracks.I have had more sucess getting a ride on the left track then the right but,the same friend told me they did some work to the right side and it is better so,maybe when you were they they were revamping the left? Who knows,i have tried the right side and it does seem better but,the left is still the better of the two IMO.It was also wet when i rode the right side.As for the chiller,we asked the ride op about it on Saturday and he said the Robin Train was sent out of the park to be fixed and,he didnt say what type of work they were doing or,when it would return so i guess we will have to wait and see.It should be back soon because it has been gone for quite a few weeks now.Again, alot of this is what i heard,i don't know the degree of truth to it all but,i do believe the Robin train was sent out.As for the rumors about what would replace Viper,if it is going to happen i will wait for the day my husband comes home and says he is pouring new footers over At SFgadv for a new coaster. So far,my husband has been my most reliable source and i will anxiously await September when his job gets word Gadv wants them to do a big concrete pour there. :)

Personally I wouldn't miss either the Robin side of Chiller or Viper. Still you're right that it hurts capacity.
When i went on 5/18, The left side was open on Rolling thunder, and I got stuck on the lift! From there i saw a big area with tools and trucks by the right side, that really painful turn. As for Viper, it dosnt valley, but it gets stuck in the first heartline. That happened to me 3 years ago, but that was because they didnt open the trim break on the drop. I dont think that they will close viper, because when it is open it has a long line. I guess the GP loves the heartline. As for Robin, I also heard that it was shipped out to fix the restraint system. I also saw a tool cart on the LIM streach, so maybee the LIMS are malfunctioning.
