SF California 12/15 Late

Associated parks:
None

Yes its late, but I am on a roll here before IAAPA. First time ever at Magic Mountain. Actually, I was working here for the weekend to help out, so who could pass up a weekend in California.

Had a mid-day 5 hour break, so off I went. First was Revolution. That restraint system is unreal. It has been on the boards before, and there were several factors which led to the shoulder harnesses. Skipping the reasons why, the coaster is a classic. Just buy new trains from premier and take care of business. 7/10.

Then went over the Gold Rusher mine ride. Good. 6/10. Psyclone was a bit rough. Maybe its the trains, maybe not. 7/10. Georgia is still the best version to date. You hear me in '05 Great Adventure? Do it right. Skipped Deja Vu and Batman, and Riddler was closed, and was Flashback. Over to Goliath. All hype, but I do like the trains. 7.5/10. Colussus was the screemin' mimi live. Too bad they added that break run, as it could have had a better ending. 7/10.

Off to Ninja. Only real line. Its a novelty to ride a suspended. 6/10. Rode the incline back and forth. Great views. 6/10. Had a good lasagna dinner in that place with sushi. Evan a salad. Year round parks have a luxury of better menus. 6/10. Then to Superman. No wait. I am in the front in no time, and the anticipation builds as I only see the lap bar. Off we go, and as one car is only running, we go way up. Superman guy asks to borrow a $20. No, Clark, and we end. That ride is a rush. 9.5/10. They should launch you twice on slow days. Agent Johnson sees money to be made on clean underware concession at exit gift shop.

I headed to Viper. Some roughness expected, and I was not let down. Still a good ride. 6/10. Finally to X. Since no one else at the park I work for has yet to ride it, bragging rights prevail. Good wait of about 1 hour. On a go, and that ride is in its own class. The face first dive down the first drop is as scary as allowed by law. Intense the whole way. Restraints are comfortable. 9/10.

Saw the petting zoo, and rode the log flume up front. Very wet. 7/10. The park is in good condition for a year round operation. Not as much graffitti as other SF parks, and it is clean. Retail is great, and games looked good. The only downer is that while they played Christmas tunes all day, they had no decorations up.

I would go back here just for X and Superman. The Burbank Airport is a hoot. Terminal is about the size of my living room. United is terrible, but on the change in Denver, got a circle over Elitch's Gardens. Going out was a great view of Vegas and the Rocky Mountains. Wally World is okay in the world of Agent Johnson.

Why has no one replied to this? This is the true SFMM! And he didn't even get on some great rides.

Interesting way of writing your TRs. I like the simplistic approach.. who needs tons of details? Especially about SFMM. Nice job, dude.

So what park do you work for? ;)

Help me come up with something new to put into this space. Please?

If you find me at IAAPA, you will figure it out. I opted to skip Deja Vu as its in 3 parks, and Batman is freakin' everywhere. I wanted to do the giant boomerang, but X was X, and we are not going to see another until they get those trains a bit lighter. I would go straight to Deja Vu on my next visit.

What are you trying to say nasai, that you don't enjoy my TR's? That hurts, man! :( And just because I haven't talked about YOU yet...I see how it is.

And since I'm a master of deduction, I believe Agent J works at none other than Wildwood in New Jersey. Be sure to stop at booth 1366 to see me, AJ! :)

Er, what is your booth? Is it close the Halloween Zone.

Virtual Image Productions, Inc is the company name. I'm not sure where exactly the Halloween Zone is so I don't know!
