Close. Six Flags is splitting the coaster in half to give two of their parks new coasters in 2003. SFA will get a shorter, rebuilt lift, the second two loops and corks, and a few newly manufactured pieces of track from S&S/Arrow to fill in the gaps.

SFAW was rumored to be getting a rebuilt lift, new track, and the remaining inversions [first loop and boomerang] but it turns out that park was screwed again by Six Flags corporate.

Track should be on-site at SFA right now!

Wrong again, Moosh! The latest scuttle-butt indicates the first half of Shockwave is going to Michael Jackson's "Neverland" amusement park, and the second half will be going to (drumroll, please)....SF Elitch Gardens!!!

It seems that SFEG entered into a competition with the other "red-headed stepchildren" of the SF chain (SFAW, SFDL, and Wyandot Lake) this past weekend. Dared by Corporate to do the most disgusting thing possible in order to get the second half of Shockwave, SFEG emerged victorious after it ate it's own poo.

and is it actually true that the track is on sight now? but what about that increase in attendance dont they deserve something better than a used coaster?
