I love the Whizzer. Are they really taking it out?

The Whizzer huh? Well if you've ridden it in the last 13 years you must be thinkiung of Six Flags Great America because the Whizzer at Paramount's Great America was removed in 1988. It's easy to see why you might be confused though, the two parks were nearly identical at one point and both owned by Marriot. Still, a lot has changed since they went their spereate ways. For instance, I never had the chance to ride Whizzer myself. It's interesting to see what different owners have done with nearly identical properties. There are some excellent shots of Stealth, Vortex, and Invertigo but everything else is pretty ordinary. I've seen a lot of PGA photos though besides visiting at least a dozen times.
