Seven Flags at SFGAdv

This has been driving me wacky since last year. At the main entrance to SFGAdv, there are SEVEN flags. It's a standard joke now, every time we enter, I count them...still seven, then I say, Welcome to Seven Flags Great Adventure! (not funny, I know, but I entertain myself with it). So, does anybody have any idea WHY they did it, has anybody other than me even noticed it??

Its probably that the seventh flag is the state flag.

My friend pointed this out to me last summer...there are indeed SEVEN flags at the entrance! I don't know what the flags signify but it is still funy to ponder...

Twistamaniac- No, they're all the Six Flags rainbow flags...all seven of them.

last time i went(april 22), there was 7 flags but if you looked closely at the one in the center it has a "Six Flags Parks" insignia, with the other ones being the standard rainbow flags. Last time i went i videotaped it in the car and once i got home o iexamined it on pause, and there 1S a seperate six flags flag. Confusing, eh?!

I think GreatAdventureAddict solved the mystery -- the seventh flag is just a flag with "Six Flags Parks" on it, thus not being one of the "six flags".

As an attorney would put it, "asked and answered."

Let's move on.

P.S. Got my voucher for SFGAdv today. I was thinking of going on Monday. Hope it won't be too busy, as it is supposed to be a BEAUTIFUL day.

Dirk, isn't the park closed on Monday? I thought it was, so I checked their official site and their "park info and hours" and it says, "Closed" for Monday. I could be wrong, but I'd hate for you to get there and it's closed...better check it out.

Season pass processing is now over where Dyno Island is.It used to be mach 1 flight simulator theatre.As for riding the rides before doing pass processing,yes you can but just make sure you check the season pass processing hours first so you don't miss it.I think they stop processing a while before the park closes.
