It was my understanding - and I could be totally wrong - that Setpoint's coaster w/ the seats positioned off to the side of the track did not feature seats that rotate. Rather they would remain upright and negotiate inversions like a typical sit-down coaster does. Can you provide the link to that article, I'd like to read it myself.

It looks as if it can move just like the 4D. Here is a quote from the webpage

Setpoint's product has almost nothing in common other than the fact that the seats are not over the track. They don't rotate. The big selling point is that the trains attach to the side of the track and you can mount an independent train on both sides.
If you look up their patent, you can see a couple conceptual drawings that show the track split and do various acrobatic dueling maneuvers.
