Server outage? Could you connect?

Last night around 7 p.m., I could no longer connect to the server. I figured that maybe I did something to crash it, but this was not the case. There are some posts on the boards over night, with a gap between 7 p.m. and about 12:30 a.m. The stats program also ran at each of its scheduled times.

So if you tried and couldn't hit the server last night, when did you try?

Well, it was really windy last night here in Cleveland, so that may have knocked out the connection to the building the server is in. Also, because much of the traffic routes through Chicago, God only knows what's going on out there.

I live in southeast Wisconsin and we have like a foot of snow and Chicago is supposed to have like a foot and a half. I tried at about 9:30 and I couldn't get through.

I tried Buzz and GTTP a couple of times between 8:00 and 8:30 and couldn't get in.

I live in Howell, Michigan and I tried at 8:30 and at 9:30 with no luck.

In Chicago, tried around 11:00 PM CST, no luck. It IS really nasty here, but my ISP was still up. *** This post was edited by Camel on 12/12/2000. ***

I was on fine between 8:00 and 10:00, Allen Park, just south of Detroit.

I didnt get on last night until around midnight so I was fine. However Jeff, I had trouble connecting today around 11:00AM. It kept giving me a message the the requested server was being used. HELP, WE HAVE TO MUCH SNOW HERE, HELP DIG US OUT.

There is more on the way tomorrow, Chitown. ;) I could have driven to Sandusky in the time it took me to get to work yesterday!

I posted.. oh, man, let me think. It had to be about 2:00 in the morning EST last night. I've been having problems today, too. Tried to get on around 7:00 this morning, and couldn't. (That, ladies and gentlemen, shows you just how little sleep I get.)

I had problems with the entire internet last night here in Cleveland. I couldn't connect to Coasterbuzz at all though.

Wouldn't work at 9:30

I feel bad for you northerners! I used to live up in the north for 11 years! Well, now I am in sunny Florida where today it was about 80-86 degrees and just enough for myself, "The Sweatiest Guy Ever", to break a sweat waiting for the bus!

P.S.:I wish it was cold!

And if it matters, I have had no problems getting into GTTP today but between the time I made my post above and now I always got a "the requested resource is being used" message when I tried to return to Buzz.

I haven't been able to connect in a few days. I live in Mississippi. Last nights try had to be around 8-8:30 with no luck.
