Senior Portraits - Help!

I'm getting ready to have my senior portraits taken in a few weeks, and our school's photographer has a multi-session. One of the sessions is a photo that captures the essence of who you are, usually including something that is a passion or hobby, etc. They encourage that you bring props for this.

Well, my passion/obsession is coasters, like most everyone on this site. Do you have any creative ideas on "props" I could bring for my portrait?

Call your local park to see if they will let you do a quck photo shoot on one of their coasters.

The Bat 1981-1983

I had the same problem just yesterday when I got my pictures done. All that I had was a giant CP poster map, Rob Coker's book and a CP t-shirt. There just isn't much out there that isn't REALLY expensive to use for pictures in a studio. I say buy the photographer some park tickets and have him take a picture of you on a coaster.

Well, if ya Like B&M, Take some cardboard and make some Box track out of it in a design that would look cool in your pic....;)

Thank goodness my son's "passion" is his electric guitar (he's getting his senior pictures taken in 30 minutes). the closest park to us is CP at 2 hours away.

But if you can find a giant poster or two and a t-shirt, that would work.

Hou about making a cardboard cutout version of the front of your favorite coaster to put in front of you...as if you were riding it?

What about build a K-Nex lift hill or something and see if you can spray paint or do something to the colors to make them your favorite roller coaster color. That or call up your nearest park and see if you can borrow one of their OTSH for a couple hours and just wear that as your necklace.
CPLady, I like that idea...very creative and practical...I may just do that! :)

Brent, is your train just a little bit bigger? ;)

Rob - who doesn't need a hat.

Another Brent... scary. Anywho, I have my senior pictures in a couple weeks, and I might just do something like that (Call up KBF, or even Legoland! LOL).
Wow, it's been awhile since I've seen a thread hijacked by the CPG :)

Moosh- too much info about Nasai there :P

Thanks Tommy. Actually, it's all Mooshie's fault. He woke up this morning with a severe case of "let's talk about me virus." Chris agreed, and BOOM! M:TR.... ;)

it's not really Moosh's fault Rob....I think he caught that bug from me during Con-Quest....

Coasters are always a good topic of discussion, but not as interesting as talkin' about gator....:)

P.S. What HAS happened to C'buzz?

what's worse, is most of the CPG are way beyond senior portraits (at least not the high school kind), although they may act like high schoolers at times.
