Security in and around the I-X Center has been increased after a large-scale Saturday night fight that led to five arrests. The I-X Center is currently hosting the 28th annual I-X Indoor Amusement Park. A large group of teenagers began "fighting and being disruptive" around 9 p.m. Saturday.

Yeah we know. You prefer places with 478 days of perceived sunshine every year. ;)

Winter doesn't suck anymore than summer sucks for being hot, humid and uncomfortable. Of course, sitting in a pool with your favorite adult beverage makes it quite pleasant (winter or summer). When I think of winter, I think of the song Aspenglow by John Denver. Perfect description. I'm probably biased though as I was a skier and ski enthusiast long before I was tall enough to ride coasters.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks, than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

If there is one thing that CoasterBuzz has taught us, it's that everything sucks. ;)

I equate liking winter to Stockholm Syndrome. I had to get out of it for a few years and unlearn that behavior. :)

I think for me it came down to the total lack of sunlight on so many of those slate gray winter days in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Snow is fun occasionally, and for the most part I could live with the cold. I never realized how "off" my mood was in the winter until I moved to Florida and got so much more sunlight. Couple that with an adult ADD diagnosis, and it is remarkable I made it through as many winters as I did with the ridiculous cabin fever that can come with winter.

I still go up and visit my folks a few times a year. They joke that I only go home during Cedar Point and Cleveland Indians season. While there is definitely some truth to that as those are two of the primary reasons outside of seeing them that I visit, amusement park and baseball season coincide with the half of the year it is generally tolerable for me to be there for any length of time. And they don't seem to mind Florida Christmas one bit.

I live in the Chicagoland area and I hate winter so much. I know we have had a milder winter than the norm but I still hate going outside. I will take heat and humidity any day over the cold.

I am trying to transfer with my company to Maitland near orlando hopefully sometime in 2018!!

Well, at least you'll be used to the terrible traffic. :)

The gloomy PA winter makes me want to move back to southern WV. My little family is almost ready to do just that.
