So all those people that lined up for Chik Fil A that you like to bring up that upset you so much but didn't have any real effect on your life were terrible people because you didn't like what they did. But I can't be offended that someone has to make a poor joke at a bigot's expense.

I forgot who I was talking to. Only you are ever right. You set the standard on morality and opinion.

Funny that you say what you say about about something not directed at me and yet a comment not directed at you (yet again) requires that you have to come at me. But I'm the one that supposedly starts it. I rarely respond to things you say unless you direct it at me. Seems like the person starting the drama isn't me.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

If I may:

I firmly believe that if you are worried about a troll, the best thing to do would be to not respond to them and to not bring them up at all in other threads.

Having said that, I don't see how this particular joke was distasteful. It did nothing to disparage the victims of the accident; in fact, it wasn't even really about them. Is it inappropriate to make any kind of joke in a thread like this? I don't personally think so, but to each his/her own.

And that's fine. Personally, I thought the joke was inappropriate. That's my opinion. I made a comment based on my opinion, and as per usual, Travis, who claims I'm always bullying him and being mean to him (on the Internet, with him being an adult in full control of what he looks at), comes in to point out how terrible I am and how I'm wrong for finding a joke offensive.

Yet I never asked that the joke be removed, tried to censor anybody, nothing if the sort.

There is no zero sum. I can be offended while others don't have to be. I can state my opinion while others can state theirs.

But Travis uses this as an excuse to keep the drama going. Had it been someone else he likes, he'd have said nothing.

And I have no problem pointing out that I enjoy pointing out his hypocrisy over the years.

Creating drama is a lot like divorce. If you really believe that it's the fault of one person or the other, you're likely part of the problem.

I've never denied being part of the problem when I respond.

Nothing to see here. Move along.

You all are right that this argument has gotten out of hand. I call a truce. Get over what hatred you have for me, Tek, for your own sake. I hope someday you will find happiness. That's all I have to say about it from here on out.

Lol "I call a truce, now let me insult you!" Hate takes too much energy. You annoy me.

You know what would make me happy? That you ignore me. I won't say anything to you as long as you don't address me, just like how I never said anything to you in this thread till you started talking to me. That would make me very happy.

Gotta side with Tek on this one. LK, you're the one that poked him on this thread after he made a remark that had nothing to do with you, and then you're the one that decided it's time for a truce. Seems like you're trying to dictate the terms of this argument, and that's not fair. You're both guilty, but I feel like Tek is the one that gets his wrist slapped the majority of the time.
