SeaWorld San Antonio begins using hand scan for passes

SeaWorld San Antonio has started to use a hand scan to validate season passes. The system takes two separate images of a pass holder's hand and combines it into a 3D image. The image is used to identify the pass holder when they enter the park. It is an added level of security if the pass is ever stolen or lost.

Seems like overkill. It's just a season pass.
