SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment said Friday it has signed a 10-year sponsorship deal with the Coca-Cola Co., making Coke the "official refreshment beverage" in Orlando-based SeaWorld's 10 U.S. theme parks.

Your body (excluding the pleasure areas of your brain) wants H20, not caramel coloring, citric acid and corn syrup. :)
As I age my body demands caffene
This Isn't A Hospital--It's An Insane Asylum!
I have a problem with fountain drinks from both companies
I do not drink drinks with cafeine and I prefer diet
sprite/7up is normally the only drink with no cafeine (and never is diet in fountain)some have root beer/orange but never in diet.
So I normally get a bottled water and refill it. If I have to ditch it no big deal.Getting a locker for my own refillable cup is to long a process.(unless you bring along a non-rider to carrry your stuff)
P.S. To make Orlando tap water drinkable jam a couple of lemon wedges in bottle

I find Pepsi to be a bit sweeter than Coke, and that it brings out the flavors in rum... especially dark rum.
Amen!

The caffeine:everything else ratio of soda is far too low for my tastes. Coffee (and tea) for the win. :)

I concur. I'm pretty much addicted to caffeine. I find that if I don't have a triple espresso in the morning, I'm miserable.
As for drinking, I prefer mine to be Bourbon with muddled sugar, Angostura bitters, an orange and a cherry. :)

I always wondered what to do with the lemons I carry in my pocket around at the amusement parks. Now I know. ;)

Last year I retrained by body to go from coffee/pop to water. It was tough, but I dropped 40 lbs from doing that and a handful of other things. The oddest way I replaced coffee was to drink hot water without the coffee. I could drink tea, but it had to be caffene free. I just did without.
Oh BTW, I'm pretty sure the drinking fountain by Disaster Transport lost the title for best drinking fountain at Cedar Point this past year because it has been replaced with a new or different unit. I think the only old box style type like the previous fountain is the one by Town Hall Museum, but even that one wasn't that great. I'll have to look around the park next year to find the best. Its sad that some of us know this.

The fountain inside park ops is the best and rarely if ever has a line.

I prefer Pepsi wayyyyyy more than coke. Although my favorite is the free waters that Cedar Fair gives out. I probably got nearly 25 during the day on those 100 degree days at Kings Island.
Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!
I'm in the Pepsi camp. I'll obviously keep going to the parks though.

This! I've gotten brain freeze from that fountain more than a few times. Unless they've changed the Blue Streak fountain (didn't notice), that one is also pretty refreshing. Using it almost every day in 07, it was definitely one of the coldest then. Town Hall is also almost always amazingly cold, as previously mentioned.

I'm late to the party...
If necessary, I'll buy a bottled water for the bottle more than for the water that is in it, so I can use it all day.
Fountain Coke is better than fountain Pepsi, in my opinion, especially at Kings Island. I don't know what that park does to make their Coke so good. Cocaine, maybe? Well, that's partially true of Coke. lol

Bottled water is wasteful.
Please visit this link if you all have a few minutes to watch an interesting video on the subject of how wasteful bottled water is.

I've noticed that the fountain across from the Disaster Transport has often been *unplugged* lately, I figure that explains its lackluster performance.

I was being serious. I have quite the expansive collection of beers in my cellar, and I'm constantly adding/trading. :)
