SeaWorld Orlando installs removable rails around pool for trainers

SeaWorld Orlando has installed a series of removable guard rails around the main show pool in Shamu Stadium, the latest in a series of steps the company has taken following the death of a killer-whale trainer earlier this year.

I know stuff happens and maby the trainer will be lucky and land near the side, but what is a rail going to do when the trainer is under a big HUGE heavy whale? it kind of sounds like the rail is around the side of the pool so unless the person is right next to the pool's edge than it won't help them. correct me if I am wrong.

If you'd read the article, you'd see that it's to prevent a trainer from being pulled in when interacting with the animal from the side.
