I imagine it's a bit like Sandusky, where a lot of the locals hate the parks for causing annoyances like heavy traffic and tourists.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

Except the locals don't get in free or at a heavy discount.

The thing is, that most must not agree with you, Shades, or at least they are willing to swallow it and go to the parks anyway. Otherwise, the tides would shift, and the discounts would have to roll to the non-residents. It's so hard to remember that the consumers still maintain most of the power in these situations.

I would guess most, including myself, do exactly what you say - just shut up and go to the parks anyway.

This forum just gives me an avenue to vent.

Ranting done.
