Orlando-based SeaWorld Entertainment plans to push back the opening dates of Ice Breaker and Iron Gwazi to 2021 the company reported Monday, as it revealed a net loss of $131 million in the second quarter when the theme parks were closed for the majority of time.

Although I refunded my unused combo pass before using it primarily because of the poor mask enforcement and horrendous park operations, this also makes me glad I made the decision. Until Iron Gwazi is ready BGT is easily a once every other year park for me, and although I'll miss popping into SWO for random Mako rides, I haven't heard enough positive reports coming from either park for their post-COVID protocols to make it something I need to do right now.
