Seaworld Orlando

i know they have Kraken and Atlantis but is it worth going to for the day for the "thrills department"? Are there any other thrill rides? How does Kraken compare to the other floorless coasters?
I have only ridden one other floorless coaster but I thought that Kraken was a great ride.  Journey to Atlantis was the best water ride that I have ever ridden.  On the other hand Wild Arctic just simply isn't worth it.  I waited in line for an hour and when I finally got on the ride the film was upsidedown.  We didn't even get a re-ride because the ride-ops couldn't figure out the problem and they gave us a ticket to come back the next day.

Sea World has a couple of nice rides, but if you aren't going in part to check out the shows and animals, you'll be disappointed. With a Busch Platinum pass I would've gone no matter what, but found myself staying for about five hours total, enjoying some of the shows.

KRAKEN IS AWESOME!!!!!!!  It's my 5th fav. coaster, behind DD, Hulk, Montu, and Kumba(in that order).  Definitely worth it.

Okay, so some call us crazy... we "knew" that the only thrill ride at Sea World was Kraken when we visited in March, but we still paid the admission anyway to hit that coaster. (Needless to say, we were pleasantly surprised when we found "Journey to Atlantis").

If you want to go for Kraken and JTA and the shows, definately go.  If you don't care about the shows, and you have the $, still go!  In my opinion, the best steel coaster in Fla.

Kraken is without question the best floorless I've ridden, Medusa east and Batman Knight Flight being the others. If you enjoy marine wildlife you won't be disappointed. My wife and I were there 7 hours and only saw about half of everything! There is much to see.

Did I mention, that I like coasters...

I'm always the odd one out of these discussions, but I felt Kraken was better looking than riding.  I prefer the compact B&Ms (BKF for floorlesses), better intensity IMO.  But I may have ridden too many times these FL B&M coasters with their "spread" layouts, and they've kinda lost a little luster for me....Give me a Talon, Ga Scorcher, BKF, even a B:TR...or better yet, ANY Intamin hyper...as Jeff said, go for the shows and the wildlife, etc.

Gatorwoodie, i go to florida every year and the B&M's never lose their luster, especially Montu and Kumba. Front seat on Kumba is still such a rush after seven years and countless rides.
Kraken I thought was sort of generic but still a thrilling ride. I am kind of annoyed about the repetition of the same five consecuetive inversions on many B&M's. (Vertical loop, diving loop, zero-g, cobra roll) Still b&M always delivers a thrilling experience.i cannot wait to get my own floorless at SFNE.
P.S  Just got back from annual pligrammage to the B&M mecca of Florida. Had a great time, but awful weather almost as bad as Boston's weather.
