SeaWorld Adventure Parks Tycoon ships for PC's

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

Activision Value today announced the North American release of SeaWorld Adventure Parks Tycoon. The game challenges players to establish and maintain their own SeaWorld theme park, complete with animal attractions and rides. The game will cost about $20 USD.

Ummmm I got this game 3 months ago at EBGames in Montrose, Ohio? $15 That same store also had that build your own waterslide/park game for $15 (of which you can ride your waterslides). Both are ok, and just worth having for those that collect theme park games, but nothing to fancy.

I know a few other people have posted on this site some reviews of it. It has also been seen in a few bargain bins already :)

Allright... another garbage value game!!!

This game, from what I've heard... is just basically crap, like every other tycoon game. You place pre-made rides around the park... very little customization.
I wouldn't be attracted by the box, and I definately wouldn't go for it based on its "Zoo Tycoon" looking boxing. The packaging is feather-light, meaning maybe a sleeve for the CD & a black & white piece of paper for instructions.

More garbage that could have potential if someone actually went thru some effort to create it.

What's even worse is that waterslide park game... I've read (not played, I'm not that gullible) that you can only create 1 slide, cannot change the color, it's just a body slide, and very very little customization (except the layout). It sounds worse than Rollercoaster Factory, but probably is on-par... don't be decieved by the box!!!

Well Buddy, before you go prancing around bashing the Game I'd recommend ATLEAST playing it.. I purchased the game a few days ago and it's not that bad. It's not Roller Coaster Tycoon material, but hey, not every game is gonna come up to par with RCT.. We're just gonna have to make do. Software companies aren't gonna make a game just to make you happy..

Seriously tho.. Try it before you go around bashing the crap out of it. Truely, it's pretty sad..

You sure you're not just justifying your $20.00 purchase? I can blow 20 bucks on a game and try to find every single good point in the game until I actually realize "what the hell did I just do? I could have got a full tank of gas for that piece of junk game!!"

Because there was never any hype for the game, that usually means one thing... junk!
...and name me one decent Activision Value game.... just one... name one that was even half-way decent!

Just because it's SeaWorld slapped on the label doesn't make it any good...

...and I don't need to play it to tell you... it's crap.

Yeah of course I could spend $20 on something more important but there is a time when you just need to slow down. Just because the game has no hype doesn't mean it's crap. I've played many many good games that many people have never heard of.. And i've had some of those for years. Your right that Activision does have some crappy games.. But you just need to make do with what you have. Sure.. Your right about Sea World Being slapped on the label. But who said that in the first place? RCT has Six Flags slapped on the label for god's sake man.
i got the game and i dont even know how to do anything there are no instructions, and i dont even know how to rotate the screen!

HI its me

I have this game and my 6 year old loves it. It is far too simple (anh short) for an true gamer, but for the little ones it is a fine game.

I agree, no instructions and your not able to rotate the screen..........that sucks.
Well Then, If you all don't have anything to say... You Might as well shut up!

For me, Seaworld Tycoon is good... It doesn't suck and it is really o.k.... :)
