Season passes to Cedar Fair parks?

Just wondering if season passes bought for one Cedar Fair park are good at all Cedar Fair parks?

Specifically could I use a Dorney Park season pass at Cedar Point or Michigan's Adventure?

Yes. They are good at all parks, including Dorney, Valleyfair, Michigan's Adventure, Knott's, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some. If you go to www.cedarfair.com, they have links to all the parks.

Very cool! I figured they were, but wanted to make sure. My wife just got offered a new position in her company that would have her working literally 5 miles from Dorney. I know we were going to hit CP next year so that helps. I may just have to hit Michigan's Adventure next year too! :)

I'm just going to miss the winter coaster season here in Florida...

I brought my Cedar Point Pass to Knotts this year. Instead of entering through the Season Pass Entrance, I had to present my Cedar Point Pass to the Ticket booth. I had to sign a list and they provided me with a comp ticket for entrance at the main gate. Dont know if the others work it that way, but just wanted to let you know what you MIGHT expect. It wasnt at all busy when I went, so it was no inconvenience, but if there are long lines you may get redirected several times. I would call ahead and ask what the individual parks procedure is for admitting season pass holders from other cedar fair parks, so you know where you need to be when you get there.

ENJOY!

They are also good at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City Missouri
Congratulations to you and your wife, Lord Gonchar!  It's true they don't get to coast 12 months like we do, but the more trips I take up North, the better I like THOSE rides...FL is basically B&M-land, anyway.  Dorney was a great park, enjoy a few spins on ThunderHawk, Laser, and Talon for me - but don't forget the Dominator...Steel Force looked better than it rode, IMO, as did Herc.

rollergator - intent on improving the "guest experience" - coming soon to a park near you
I've used my WOF pass at CP several times this year. You present your pass at Guest Relations at the front gate... no ticket booths or turnstyles. This has the added advantage of letting you be one of the first people into the park (giving you a jump on the "running of the bulls")

Cool, thanks for all the info everyone. I was a tad disappointed about the winter thing, but we're originally from PA so I've delt with it before. I've never had such easy access to the east coast parks though (lived in western PA before) so trips to Dorney, SFGAd, Hershey, etc are now an easy reality. Especially since the closest park to Jacksonville are the Orlando parks (and Wild Adventures) both of which are two hour drives...but worth every second! :)

Just another quick thanks to everyone who offered info & help. We're now in Allentown and I got some great looks at Dorney - can't wait for next season. We're going down Monday to grab passes for 2002. My only regret is I didn't get one last trip to IOA in before we left.

Leather seats in your car are fine in Florida, but get awfully cold in the northern winter weather. ;)
