Season passes and parking passes (Six Flags).

Incase anyone else is in this situation and haven't acted on it yet, I thought I would pass this along.

I visited SFMM in February, and took advantage of the $47.99 season pass special at that park. Being that my homepark is SFGAm with average pass prices $80-$100 this season, I wasn't passing this up.

Only dilemna after that was would SFGAm let me purchase a parking pass and put it on my SFMM pass. After an employee asked a couple supervisors, they said that was acceptable.

Just letting people know that SF parking passes from one park can be affixed to season passes of another SF park.

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

Congratulations, Chi....

I do not believe that could be generalized at all, though, and would be AMAZED if this was a corporate-wide policy. My guess is that even if you tried it at SFGAm again, you'd get a different answer next time. ;)

Too many of this type of question gets an answer *on the spot*, regardless of the park or chain. CF definitely does more *policy-making* a a chain, but even MANY of their policies gets decided in the moment. The result is that guests are unsure of the rules, and oftentimes dissatisfied...have to wonder if GAm has a policy about that, or SF in general, or if "the biggest supervisor in the area" made the call...;)

bill, hopeful that his SFMM season pass will get him early entrance to SFGAdv's "season-passholder Friday" so I can get a lap on Ka...:)

I wish the parking pass was good at any SF park. I don't think that's how it works right?

No such thing as a "chainwide parking pass" in ANY chain...yet...;)
This does not apply to SFNE. You do not need to show a season pass. You receive a mirror hanging thing.

SFNE Central- Online Six Flags New England Resource

And at SFA it the parking pass is a window cling...

If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.

i never paid to park at any Paramount park when I had a PKI pass. I went to PKD, PCW and Carrowinds.

Same goes for SFGADV. I was there today $30. Pffttt I think parking passes should be good at parks with in 300-500 miles of your home park.

Thanks,
DMC

I believe the Paramount parking passes are universally accepted at all the parks. I went to PKD last summer and my parking pass worked there.
True, but my PC Platimum Parking is worthless at PKD. They don't even have "platinum".

Wow, that's cool of Paramount, didn't realize they did that....of course, PP doesn't exactly give SPs away, either, but it certainly makes the parking upgrade much more valuable to the *millions* of passholders who travel to more than one park during the season...LOL! ;)
Another reason to visit HW...FREE parking!

And $200 season passes good at only one park ;).
Yes...I did the exact same thing in April 2003 and was told at guest relations that it could be done but would not be accepted for parking at SFMM.

Just a little FYI...I have used SFGAm season parking at Saint Louis and never had a problem, they just look at me funny. I've done it 3 times already. *** Edited 5/9/2005 2:23:45 AM UTC by Marky Mark***

SOB's biggest fanboy!
SFI really should consider making their parking pass good at any SF park. *** Edited 5/9/2005 4:40:51 AM UTC by thrillerman1***

I think you all are misunderstanding the point here :-P

the point is he can *BUY* a parking pass for his OWN park even though he has a pass for a different park... not use an exisiting parking pass at a different park.

HFEC parks (with the exception of Dollywood) all have free parking

If you think about it, season passes for SF are really cheap considering that you can use them at any SF.

I have an AstroWorld SP and I was able to buy a parking pass for SFOT. I know of someone else who has an SFOT pass and bought season parking for both SFOT and Fiesta Texas. Apparently it's not that unusual.
Yeah, I have a SFAW pas and have a SFOT parking pass. I did last season, too.
