Sean, on all the TV's in Sears at one time, Oh No

Walked into the TV department at Sears, and low and behold first I see the Thunderbolt in HDTV glory, then flash to Shaggy in front of the Beast. Nothing like a POV in HDTV it was the promo on Discovery HD, for one of our beloved Top Ten Coaster shows.

When is the discovery channel doin a top ten coasters show?
Better question: When isn't the Discovery Channel or the Travel Channel doing a Top 10 show?
Both channels are always doing top tens shows. But rarely ever, especially in the off season, are they about roller coasters.

Which Sean are you talking about? The only interview I have done regarding The Beast was for a local Cincy station back in 1999..........at least, that is what I remember. =:^)

-Sean

Sorry Sean, I meant Shaggy, well you both start with S. I easily confusss names : ).

Oh my gosh....

I had no idea that was being shown in stores like that. I guess that is what happens when you sign away the rights to your image, you become a commercial. ;-)

By the way, It is probably the one where I am riding/talking about Son Of Beast.

You know I filmed that segment nearly two years ago and when I did it, I never once thought it would get played as much as it does. I figured a couple of my enthusiast friends will see the show and that's it.

Well the must show that about 20 times a month, because I still get people calling or stopping me saying.... "Hey we saw you on tv riding a rollercoaster." or "Weren't you on a rollercoaster show?"

I have only seen the episode the first time it aired on Discovery. That was enough for me.... I may have to avoid Sears or Circuit City for a while ;-)

I had a blast filming it, and I would do it again. But perhaps next time I would ask for residuals. Hee hee! J/K

Shaggy, I only seen it once too and I still say you did a great job.

Chuck, who is glad it wasn't Sean, He's everywhere! :)

BTW, The new shows usually come out Memorial Day for start of season thrills :)
