They measure time a little differently at the Seabreeze Amusement Park, which has been a fixture on the lakeshore in Irondequoit since 1879. The family that runs Seabreeze — amazingly, the park has stayed in the same family’s hands since the first days — counts in generations.

Sure hope they never sell the place - the sense of history there is palpable...and the carousel is absolutely gorgeous. JackRabbit is pretty sweet too (no spoilers)! The totally-unique Bobsled, the spinning coaster, and a nice mix of flats make it a well-rounded park.
If you're travelling anywhere near the park, stop by for a few hours...you'll be really glad you did! :)
That bobsled is very cool. Was it the first wood coaster to be converted to a steel coaster?
