Seabreeze Amusement Park

My "former" elementary school is going to Seabreeze on Tuesday. I haven't been since 6th grade when I went with my old class.

Its a fun park, even though Martins Fantasy Island rocks compared to it.

They have a new ride called spring. Its a mini drop tower but its NOT an S&S and says that kids and adults can ride too. The picture on the website, although not the one at Seabreeze, looks almost as tall as a chute the shoots ride. Is it really that big?

Heres the picture

Can all of you say a prayer that it doesn't rain! I need coaster enthusiasts prayers b/c i need to ride a coaster, even if their coasters aren't too great...

Looks like a Frog Hopper to me. It must be about 25 feet tall from the looks of it. I would say you wouldn't get much thrill from it... but if your light weight you might get some sharp airtime. Have fun riding Quantum Loop even though I've heard that it is rough. I would still appreciate it since it's the only one in the country made by Soquet. Have Fun!
i think its about 40-45 feet. I was there today with my 8th grade class. It might be less, but from what I saw of it, it looked about that. I did not go on it though.

Quantum Loop's drop and loops are great but after that its boring.

Jack Rabbit is still a great rid ethough.

That is a picture of the same model of ride at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk known as "Freefall." It's not very tall but is a lot of fun. In no way extreme *but* it does freefall.

I thought Quantum Loop was for sale and wasnt operating?

#1 Canobie Lake Park Fan!!! My top 7 coasters:
1. S:RoS @ SFNE 2. Montu 3. Yankee Cannonball 4. Kumba 5. Gwazi 6. Cyclone (SFNE) 7. B:DK

Spring Ride is about 30'. Just slightly too tall to raise with a forklift.

Given a choice between MFI and Seabreeze, it's a no-brainer. I'd go to Seabreeze even though their Flying Scooters are terrible. At least I can ride Jack Rabbit and Bobsleds without hassle.

Is Quantum Loop operating this season?

Rideman,

Yes Quantum Loop is operating this seasons from what I know, its still on their website.

Why do you like Seabreeze better than MFI?

MFI does have an awesome CCI woodie, a fun drop tower, and that new Nitro Ride by Zamperla (i think)

MFI has virtually no care for their customers, and no respect either. Where as they have a relitively better selection of rides, I would prefer the atmosphere and customer service at Seabreeze over the park operations at MFI.
Just an update for the peopl who hate MFI because of the glasses policy, they finally have signs up that say they are allowed provided you have a strap... so even those that were screwed over opening weekend can rejoice now that they finally settled it w/ all the employees.
Seabreeze is worth the trip for the ultra-cool Bobsleds.

I play in a really awful garage band, but it's still fun.
