I have to agree that the whole floorless thing is just a gimmick. It only has value in the front seat. But don't let the gimmicky part take away from the fact that they are still B&M loopers. And Kraken has the best zero-G roll of all that I have ridden. Lift your legs up just before the roll and watch how high they float by themselves! If you let gravity (or the lack of it) take over your feet will be higher then the seatback in front of you. It's a great inversion, if not the best of any looper.
And don't miss Cirque de la mer. It is a wonderful show. It is one of the best attractions in Orlando.
it was a nice park when i visited(pre kraken days)i really enjoyed journey to atlantis.there was also a flight sim of some sort, that was a lot of fun.i am planning a trip to the orlando area soon, and hope to make anether trip to sea world to check out kraken.i do think the $50 is a bit steep for this park..imo.
Are multi-park passes available between chains? If so, where do you go about getting them?

jeff, there is a 10-day BGT, SWO, USF, IOA, Wet&Wild pass for about $200 that you can purchase. You can find it on the BGT or IOA websites. I'm not sure if you can purchase them onsite, but you can definitely order them. Also, I think you can get this same five park pass from AAA. Though you will have to call one of the offices in FL, TN, or GA to get it as AAA-South is the only branch that carries them.

They have that Orlando Pass set up where you spend X amount of dollars that gets you admission over 5 or 7 days at Wet'N'Wild, Both Universal's, Busch Tampa, and Sea World. Its in the $99-$149 range. Quite a bargain.
I purchased the 2 year Busch Pass for $179, which gets me unlimited access to SWO and BGT, free parking, 10% off of eats and gifts, and 50% off BGW and the other 2 Sea Worlds. And 15% off of your guests admission.
I also purchased a 1 year Universal Pass for $143, which gets you both parks, parking, 10% off eats and gifts, and free cover charges to the bars and clubs at Citywalk.
I just spent 2 weeks there, and got my money's worth, and I intend to hang around after IAAPA this November to visit them again. I prpbably should have sprung for a Wet'N'Wild pass, they are only like $79.
Is SeaWorldOrlando worth it. IMO, yes. The park has alot to offer, as far as attractions and shows, etc. Its a great place to take your family and/or hang out with your friends and drink beer:)..Journey to Atlantis is a great attraction. Probably one of the best flume rides out there. Kraken, well it speaks for itself. Its an awesome floorless coaster. This is hardly a *forceless* coaster, as most of the floorless coasters have been label. The layout/pacing on this ride is great. The ticket price is high, but once you are inside, you'll know that it was worth it.

I have never been there, but this makes me never want to bother."
Well, after clicking on the link and seeing who wrote it, I had a very good chuckle out of that, Goose.
The person who wrote that trip report was Mark McKenzie, and old RRC regular. That particular trip report was a sham, a joke. It couldn't have been further from the truth. Anyone who knows Mark realized this from the opening paragraph.
I agree ... This is certainly a tongue-in-cheek review ... If I had to spend a day at SWF, I'd be forced to ride Journey to Atlantis and Kraken over and over again ... its a tough job but somebody has to do it ...
By the way, Ive been to SWF and loved it all! And the Beer School is a must. Im a Master Beer Taster ... OK we're all Master Taster after the session but how can you say No. SWF is a must do in my book and the Free Bus service between there, wet n wild and IOA shouldnt distract you either. AND IF YOU'RE REALLY KEEN ... The Free Buses to BGT also run from here!
Lifes to short ... enjoy it all

Jeff - you can purchase a two-day two-park ticket for Sea World and BGT for around $78. It's available at the ticket office at either park. The same applies to IOA and Universal and with your AAA card you can take another 10%. The only thing you get with the 5 park thing is unlimited access to the parks and the water park, and it's $45 more. One day each is plenty of time to do all these parks. I'd rather go to MGM or Epcot than any water park.
It would be good if they added a nother coaster or three.:)
Keep in mind that I'll have the evenings to play, so it's worth my while to have access to all of the parks all week when that silly trade show is done for the day.

An employee told me Sea World will be adding a second coaster in the near future, probably a year or two away. Food for thought.
