Screamscape`s PKI rumor true?

I'm gonna take a stab in the dark about future plans, but it doesn't have anything to do with rides. I suspect Kings Island will implement a Gold Pass plan, you pay more for a season pass and you get your own separate queue line from the rest of the GP. Actually, I think it'll be implemented this year, but who knows...
SilverWinds,PKI doesn't have a name for itself?

1)The Beast-longest roller coaster in US(wooden & overall)
2)Son of Beast-2nd longest coaster in US(wooden & overall)/Tallest, fastest and only looping wooden coaster/only hyper wooden coaster
3)Most diverse selection of coasters in Ohio(tied)
4)Most visited Ohio park in the 90's
5)14th Most visited park in the 90's-beaten only by Disney/California/Florida parks and SFGAdv.
6)Coney Island flat rides
7)3rd Most Coasters in US
8)Runaway Reptar-Only junior invert
9)Free water park
10)short(weekday)lines
-and some more.

Why does it seem to everyone that PKI has to rely on CP for everything? Very few are going to come to both parks on the same trip out of state. They both take the majority of their visitors from their surrounding area and then some during a record year. And people out of state don't come to PKI? Lots of people come to PKI from Indiana and Kentucky. A lot of people go to CP from Indiana and Michigan.

I live in Ohio and won't go to CP unless they have something new I want to ride. It's because CP has excellent coasters(MF,Rap,Mant), good coasters(Mag,Gem,WC) and bad coasters(ID,CS,MS,DT,CCMR). PKI has excellent coasters(SOB,Beast,Vortex,Face/Off,Racer), good coasters(Top Gun,FoF,KC), and decent coasters(AdvEx). And PKI has a free water park.

Oh! I see what you're telling me now. PKI is the better park, because CP has to rely on Lake Erie and boating. And PKI has nothing to rely on but the fact it's a great park. Thanks! (all sarcastic)

PKI is going to continue their coaster wars. they're only one behind CP and 2 behind SFMM. And PKI doesn't need a sitdown steel looper. We already have the great Vortex. We need a hyper or giga. Non looping. *** This post was edited by Koaster King on 2/21/2001. ***
Koaster King, where are you getting your info?

3)Most diverse selection of coasters in Ohio
Says who? That's pretty speculative, isn't it?

6)Face/Off-Only face to face inverted coaster
Face/Off is not the only face to face inverted. Hangover, Invertigo, and Two-Face: The Flip Side are all exactly like Face/Off -- inverted face to face boomerangs. In fact, Face/Off was the third one built. The generic name for these is invertigo, as is stated on Vekoma's website.

8)Runaway Reptar-Only junior invert
Silver Streak, opening this year at Paramount's Canada's Wonderland, is the exact same coaster.
RagingBull,I'll explain.

6)I meant that the coasters at PKI are the most different of types to each other than the other Ohio parks.
PKI-steel twister, stand-up, steel out-and-back, invertigo, junior invert, junior wooden, junior suspended, junior steel, suspended, wooden out-and-back, wooden twister, mine train, twin wooden
(13 different)
CP-giga, stand-up, invert, hyper, wooden twister, wooden out-and-back, steel twin, junior steel, suspended, bobsled, steel twister, steel out-and-back, mine ride(13 different)
Sorry, it ties. My mistake. At first I put MF, Wildcat and Magnum in 1 category as non looping steel but I changed it.

7)The website I saw this at has been closed since '99. Sorry, I'm wrong again. This a website that for some reason cuts off half of their writing. It said first in the midwest after I copied and pasted. I at first had the impression that an invertigo didn't have to be face to face. And I knew that it was called an invertigo but I didn't know any full circuit face to face inverts so I just wrote invert. Sorry.

8)Silver Streak is listed as a junior suspended and is referred in that way by Paramount. On this very site in the news section it says RR is the first. Plus, PKI already has a junior suspended so it wouldn't be that.
Regardless, I think 2002 will be the last big year for a while. Hopefully there will be a couple of new railers sitting there waiting for us opening day next year!

I'm wishing for a hyper-invert, and a steel sit-down.

I also wish Doritos would bring back "Salsa-Verde" but it ain't gonna happen.

Why Jacob? Just an out of the blue guess?
