Screamin' Swing erected at Knott's as Silver Bullet shapes up

Knott's Berry Farm's Screamin' Swing has been installed. Silver Bullet construction appears nearly complete. The lead-in to the helix has gone up and only a few pieces remain. See the photos on ACN.

Does anyone know what the upcharge will be for Screamin' Swing? I can't imagine it being much more than $5 or $10, but you never know.

Guess CF still does like flat rides at some of their parks.

This opened yesterday just in time for the first night of Haunt. The charge is 5 dollars and the ride cycle time on it is WAY too short. 1 minute of swinging back and forth. It looked fun, but not enough to pay 5 bucks for. Also I question the choice of this ride. Knott's already has Dragon Swing, and Revolution. Did they really need a THIRD swinging type ride? I think not. And apparently the public agrees. Not too many people were riding it during the day OR during Haunt.

It will be interesting to see what happens with this ride as time goes on.
