As many of you know, I spend my spare time building scale amusement rides and coasters (some operating). I have taken on the task of developing a fully-functional looper, starting with a simple shuttle, and eventually something similar to the DEMON at Great America (with theming and all). For now, my inspiration is from Arrow's launched loop, which became popular in the late 70's.

If ANYONE out there remembers the Screamin' Demon at Kings Island, please post. I need photo reference of it BEFORE it moved to Camden Park in W. Va, because I believe it originally ran with a 6 car train, as opposed to the 5 car train it has now. A photo I saw recently on ebay showed it with 6 cars, but could have easily been a different park. Screamin' Demon is a milestone for me, as it was my first upside down ride. I am painting my model to resemble the SD during its 11 year reign at Kings Island.
