New show on the Travel Channel starting August 3rd: "Scream If You Know The Answer."

Contestants answer trivia questions while riding roller coasters at Six Flags Magic Mountain.

That sounds like another show that was on a few years ago. The name escapes me at the moment, but they had contestants who answered trivia questions while riding roller coasters too.

LK, if you are thinking of the same show that I am, seems it was shot at Knotts. The name of it escapes me too.

Which is 33 years after Way Out Games. That show involved participants participating in contests like trying to catch playground balls while descending down Magic Mountain's Jet Stream (Arrow Hydro Flume), or trying to throw those same balls from a Himalaya ride to other team members located at various points along the loading platform. Stupid show, but it had amazing footage of Magic Mountain, with tons of shots of the then brand new Revolution.

Today no park would allow that type of program, simply for the sheer number of potential accidents and disasters related to park goers trying to copy the silly game stunts.

Wasn't there a show at Magic Mountain a few years ago that was an amusement park Olympics of sorts? I remember a balloon drop at a target from a skycoaster and someone riding X trying to keep a ball inside a cup. There were other "games" too, but I don't remember anything about them.
