Schlitterbahn WaterPark - 6/10-6/11

Schlitterbahn is an excellent waterpark and a lot better than most amusement .

It is divided into 6 themd areas: WaveFest, Slidenplatz, Blastenhoff, Surfenburg, Kinderlund, and Das Laguen.

Here are the water rides:

Hillside Tube Chute- Very long, very wet, and very fun. 10/10- My favorite at the park.

White Water- Very Aggressive, but very short. 8/10

Cliffhanger- Very long, but too gentle and slow. 7/10

Raging Rapids- Too much of a lazy river than a rapids ride. 7/10

Downhill Racer- Sled Racers with lots of airtime. 9/10

Soda Straws- Quicks, fast, and short body slides- 7/10

Banzai- Tube slides, very fast and rough, and I fell out of my tube halfway through. 8/10

Double Loop Racers- Short and slow body slides. 6/10

Master Blaser- Very fast, long, very wet, and a blast! A great uphill water coaster! 10/10

Black Knight- A tamed version of Black Hole at Wet n' Wild and Hurricane Harbor. 6/10

Wolfpack- Family Tube ride with very sharp turns. 7/10

Dragon Blaster- Mini Master Blaster, but too slow. The last drop is great though. 5/10

Family Blaster- 10 second water coaster, but thrilling at all. 4/10

Boogie Boards- A blast, even though I suck at it. 8/10

Wave Pool- A kiddie wave pool, the only one in the park. 3/10

Torrent River- Aggressive wave pool + lazy River= a blast! 9/10

The water at Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels, Texas is pure river water, but it is very clean, much cleaner than Huricane Harbor's water. I highly recommend this park to anybody looking for a good tim. Deserves its recognition of bst waterpark in the country completely.

Overall, a 10+/ 10- it's very beautiful, hidden from the rest of the world, and the rides are superb.

In late 2002, early 2003, a blue skycoaster will open.

I plan to go to Schlitterbahn Beach WatePark later this summer (wich is in South Padre Island. Apparentley, you get into a lazy river and that leads to 4 water coaster and may rapids, all starting in the lazyriver.).

I think the park is highly overrated, but I'm glad that you liked it. My favorite is the Torrent- a lazy river with bite.
