I spoke to someone in my industry today who said an RFP is going out for a waterpark to be built at the Miami Metrozoo. This park, in his words, would be a "destination park" that may eventually include a hotel.
He further told me that the RFP would be sent to the "NBGS"-type companies (his words). When I mentioned that I had been to Schlitterbahn he just smiled at me.
Now I know Schlitterbahn in South Padre is new and I am fairly sure they have made public plans for a Schlitterbahn in Galveston. I wonder if they are finally looking to expand their incredible name outside the Lone Star state?
