Schlitterbahn a true WATER PARK now?

Anyone over in Texas hear about the status of Schlitterbahn? I know New Braunfels has been on the news a lot due to the flooding and Schlitterbahn is on a river.

Just wanted to know if they were still in operation.

The park's website has some details. Sounds like the park was just left a mess with little damage. I'm sure the people who live in central Texas could care less. As funny as everyone might think the "water park" joke is, remember that 8 people lost their lives and dozens of homes were completely destroyed in these floods. This was an area that saw similar flooding only 4 years ago. And its not over yet: people down river in towns like Goliad and Gonzalez are expected to see the river crest today.

Glad to know its not destroyed, but I'm sure the water is a mess and it will take a lot of cleaning to do.

Can we change the name of Top Gun to your mom so no one wants to ride your mom?

Hey, I didn't mean any disrespect. On the contrary, I was concerned with the potential damage and the employees who are out of work until things get back to normal.

Glad to hear things aren't as bad as I envisioned they might have been.

I heard that the whole park was underwater, but this happened back in 1998 too, so I'm sure they'll recover.
