Scary Stall on ValleyFair's Wild Thing!

i got stalled on superman TWICE in one ride. we go about 20 feet off the ground and it stopped no biggie at all. it started goin then it stopped again about 175 feet in the air so close to the edge. i wasnt scared, gave me a good view of the park and my dad and i discussed where they could put a new coaster. the funny part was the ride attendant was quite large so he had to go almost to the top of the lift to talk to us and keep us calm. when we got to the brakes the guy was still comin down the stairs. lol but i felt sorry for him

Have any of you stalled on Goliath??????

one time on magum it stalled near the top .I had such a death grip on the handle bar ...I think my hand prints are still there ...LOL

I know that this isn't really a coaster but I was on Test Track in the thermal image area and we got stuck for 30 min.

That's really gotta suck! Even though it isn't intensly hot in there, it still sucks. I would prefer to get stuck on the Corrosion chamber. That has mist and stuff so it isn't all that bad. It would really be bad if you got stuck on the outdoors area. You wouldn't have nearly as much speed as you could have going through there...and that would make the ride a lot worse. Going around that huge turn at the end is made from the speed!

Well many times especialy during 3 train operation if they are takeing too long to load the train (because of handicapted of the first cars lapbars don't release (now that happens ALOT)the op will actually stop the lift with a train on it to avoid major stacking. Also the ride goes down for a big inspection everyday at 2:00 and that involves sitting a train up on the lift for 5 or 10mins.

It stalled in July 98 with me and two friends right before the top. Pretty trick! It was my
first 200 footer, and the first ride on it. I enjoyed the second time much more!
