Scariest Ride You've Ever Ridden

Any drop tower no matter how fun they turn out to be in the end alwats scare the daylights out of me either on the way up just before they drop or just before they launch straight up! Theyre never scary to the point that I refuse to ride them but just before the launch/drop I start to get really nervous haha. Fun Times!

What IF the whole world farted at once?!

Time Warp at SFNE. It wasn't the ride, it was the fact that the my harness kept coming undone a click or two everytime my weight on it. (had to pull it down whenever the "car" wasn't upside down.)

Apocalype at Drayton Really had to be the scariest. I have been on the floorless standup drop rides and they really didn't scare me because you were basically in a harness, so it was kind of like sitting down. But when I went on the Apocalpe side where you are actually STANDING and are tipped foward 20 degrees, and the platform on which you are standing is barely long enough for your feet to actually stand on. That was really the freakiest thing I have ever been on - and that was barely 200 feet!

You people are *wimps*. :)

Still haven't been scared by anything.......

Several for me: Acrophobia at SFOG...I was visibly shaking as I exited the ride. It didn't help that as soon as I got off it, the ride ops sent up a test run with no one on it. MF and TTD - I agree with bassman2003 on MF for the vertigo feeling I got when sitting in the extremely open air seats at 300' ( I was almost at the point of hyperventilating) and TTD for the roll out to the launch then the excruciating 10 or 15 seconds it sits there revving up. Last I would say riding the Zipper at a carnival and wondering if the door was going to swing open at any second.

Nashville needs a theme park!

Without a doubt, Oblivion at Alton Towers gets me every time, something about a vertical drop freaks me out anyway, but being held there face down for long enough to really think about it makes it 10 times worse! I come off laughing like a maniac every time, is it because it has been fun or am I simply glad to be alive?

Williams Grove Cyclone. The first time I rode it, I was in the front seat, and on the first turnaround I literally saw a screw pop up out of the track plating, and then fall right back into place. The coaster looks like the next ride it gives will be the last.

Ask yourself; When was the last time YOU visited Conneaut Lake Park?

Thrill Shot at SFMM. The Op fitted me with a harness that left slack and anybody who was been on these rides knows what that means. I chose the face down the whole way style, so when I got to the top of the tower I free floated. I thought I was going to die. It was freakin great!

ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter at Disney's Magic Kingdom. That was completely unexpected and startling. Pitt Fall at Kennywood scared me my first time on it too.

Idlewild Moments

I get scared on most drop rides, I was also scared on Steel Force at Dorney my first time because it was twice as tall as any other coaster I had ridden up to that point. And I'm agreeing with Mamoosh because that skycoaster at kissimee was just plain horrifying, because for a second or two there u are dropping and u can't feel the wire or anything, a real freefall. I wouldn't ride any drop rides after that until just recently. I still have nightmares about that slow lift to the top, not to mention the countdown.

Thats easy for me...my first ride on Steel Phantom. It loomed over kennywood while I went as a kid, and I was always scared to ride it, but I finally got my guts up, and I've never been scard of a rollercoaster since.

The Millenium Force ride Ops: Squishing you where it counts since 2000.
Track Record: 62 coasters at 17 parks.
My first ride on Dragster opening day had me absolutely shaking. it was a feeling I had not gotten since 1989 on my first Magnum ride.

If I was part of a coaster, I would be an upstop pad on an Arrow Mine Train.
MAGNUM HAD MY BABY!

This would easily have to be the bigshot.

That thing is insane.

My first ride on ToT @ MGM. Now, i've read books on it for a long time way before I even got on the ride! They all failed to mention the first drop in the dark. I screamed my ass off!

My first ride on Drop Zone @ PKD. I was so nervous that I was shaking. As we ascended my heart beat faster and FASTER. I could NOT believe how high we were. When the thing finally dropped I screamed like a girl...caught my breath...and then continued my scream. YES, that drop is LOOOOOOOONG!

Oh, I forgot to mention the Lochness Monster. I was FORCED to get on it when I was a lil kid. Many years after that I didn't get on any other coaster, but Scooby Doo @ PKD. I still get nervous till this day, but only when I sit in the back seat. The drop from the back takes your breath away.

So many choices (Sorry, I couldn't pick one): 1) Skycoaster-waiting for the slack to pick up while your body is diving towards the ground 2) Zamperla Turbo Force-like a "little brother" to the Skyscraper, but nonetheless just as scary 3) Skyscraper @ Dorney- the height, the spinning, did I mention the spinning? 4) KMG Tango-the newest flat ride in my arsenal, this is a super high spinning ride with no backup seatbelt. You wonder the whole time if your restraint will last the whole ride, while you're spinning like mad 5) Saving the best for last-Knoebels Haunted House-I white-knuckled it throughout the whole first ride.
